Zeleman production in collaboration with Images That Matter is organizing a short film festival in Addis Ababa which will take place from june 16-19. This one of a kind film festival is going to be carried out with the objective of promoting Ethiopian film industry and young film makers are given a chance to promote their work to others. The festival also includes a workshop and training for young film makers in Ethiopia and will be joined by famous actor/actresses, directors and producers from around the world and will be hosted by the famous Ethiopian international model Liya Kebede

Lezare Wins Best Short Film Youth Jury Award at the Tarifa African Film Festival

Zelalem Woldemariam, Producer/Director, is selected as winner of “Best Short Film Youth Jury Award” claiming a trophy and 2000 Euro prize.

Tarifa, Spain May 29, 2010– Lezare a short film produced and directed by Zelalem Woldemariam, has been selected as a winner of the best short film youth Jury award.

“Lezare” was chosen from a pool of nominees by an international jury of experts. The TARIFA competition was very competitive this year, 15 films from over ten countries on the African continent were competing in the Short Film category. The competition took place from May 21-29 in Spain.
